LTE EPC ARCHITECTURE The EPS network can be divided be 2 parts. That are radio access network (RAN: eNodeB) and core network (PS: EPC). The PS network units include SAE – GW (S - GW and P – GW), MME, HSS, PCRF, and OCS. PS connects with other PLMNs or PDNs (IP’s Service).
